“The Narrator”
Description-
You see a random picture of a pair of glasses, set on a wooden surface. Foreground and background suggests a dim and darkened room. In a cliche, yet serendipitous moment of clarity, you realize you see two text boxes, like from a comic book… you do know what that is, right? Would words “graphic novel” or “manga” suffice? The words “text box” should be pretty easy to understand either way, unless you lack particular intellectual faculties. I suppose orientation is in order, so it bears knowing that the first text box is located at the center top of the card, while the second is located at the bottom right. The back of the card is nothing sneeze at: black background with a large, white textbook in the middle of it. Simple and boring, but effective.

Text
Introduction: Welcome to Adjunct Universe. This is neither a story nor an anthology of stories. Each work is a concept devoid of talented artists and designers and programmers., though there might not be a whole lot of concepts that would be in need of a programmer unless the concept is a web-site. However, a story might be inferred or suggested from within each concept. Whether or not the lack of visual talent will still provide sufficient entertainment value will depend solely on the author’s talent to craft word. You’ll have to decide if the author is resting on his hackneyed laurels a bit too hard…. No one will blame you for rolling your eyes at that pathetic display of self-deprecating humor, he crafts my opinions after all. Either way, he’ll have fun making non-existent cards and such in an interesting yet unconventional way. Just… don’t think about who I am after this point, as a character called “The Narrator.” Very unlikely I’ll be addressed or acknowledged past this point anyway…
