“The Professor”
Description
You find another card, and this one feels connected to another. The art style is remarkably similar. However, the tonal theme is somewhat different. On the front, the artwork shows two teachers sitting next to each other in their chairs, one male and one female, wearing their formal work attire while on a stage of some sort, suggesting a kind of assembly. Each of them is outlined with a ghostly energy, providing a sinister context to their seemingly normal, unaware expressions. Behind them, in the background and further back stage, sits a humanoid creature that is obviously taller than nearly any human on the planet. It has unnaturally pale white skin as it wears a purple robe with a yellow, abstract design sewn all over its cloth. The robs is short in its sleeves, and it barely stretches enough either way to cover the creature’s knees and shoulders. Despite this, you seem to catch on to the detail that the shape of the creature’s torso can’t be determined. As for the head area, it has two heads upon its neck, which throws any thought of it being anywhere close to being human out the window: one head is that of a red-eyed rat, and the other head is that of a blue-eyed ape. Both bear light gray fur and look deceptively knowledgeable as they star at and past the two teachers. The ghostly auras each have a stream flowing together and splitting into four smaller streams that enter the nostrils of its two noses. Now, you flip the card over to see a large, stylized text box surrounded by eyeballs, with not a single one bearing an iris… You are ensnared by this find.

The residents of Action Town often have conversations and theories involving the things they are powerless to understand or control. Many start from a topic of politics or culture, but eventually, most can’t help but discuss their wonderings toward Action Town itself: and wonder who controls the criminality and corruption that plagues this town, which primarily attracts adrenaline junkies and stunt devils. But, none of them know the truth… The Professor is the shadow ruler behind every gang, mass shooter, corrupt politician, and it’s even behind the corrupt corporations and media outlets. Only a handful of its servants and partners know of its existence, and even fewer of its enemies know of it. Whether they be a servant, partner, or enemy, they all give this creature one name: The Professor. No one knows what The Professor actually is, though: Is it an alien? Is it a demon? Or, could it be an ancient source of evil long forgotten. Even more perplexing is the creature’s particular animosity toward Larry Grimes, The Custodian. Maybe time will tell if there’s a deeper connection to its animosity toward the seemingly indifferent hero… but who could tell when that time will rear its ugly head?
